This ring and several of its type were originally crafted to protect the sons of King Castter De'wess, though the creator is unknown. The rings remained within that family for at least thirteen generations and were all lost within the space of one. Enmity between the King's heirs and those of the rings' crafter are rumored to be the cause of their disappearance.
